Coldwell Banker Burnet Foundation Seeks Pillow Donations to Benefit Bridging

EDINA, MN (February 18, 2014) –Coldwell Banker Burnet’s Foundation is helping needy families have a good night’s sleep by collecting new pillows for their Foundation partner, Bridging.
Bridging provides furniture and household goods to families transitioning out of homelessness and poverty. They distribute 240 pillows to more than 75 households every week and are always looking to replenish their pillow supply.

Last year the company’s offices donated 4,540 new pillows. It was the largest pillow drive in Bridging’s 26 year history, topping the 3,123 pillows that Coldwell Banker Burnet collected in 2012. As a result, Bridging was able to distribute one pillow to every person in need versus one pillow per bed.
“We take for granted the little things in life, especially a pillow to lay our heads on at night,” said Robin Peterson, president of Coldwell Banker Burnet. “We hope that our pillow drive helps to bring peace-of-mind to families in need.”
